Locally sourced supplies
Josie enjoys giving fibers a second chance whenever possible. Currently, 100% of the textiles stocked are reclaimed, discard stock or repurposed. Alll textiles are from local Vancouver vintage and thrift shops. All supplies are sourced from Canadian businesses

Imperfect Creativity
Hello, I'm Josie Grabarevic, welcome to my shop. I am a contemporary textile artist from beautiful British Columbia, living in Vancouver.
I never set out to become a textile artist but I simply couldn't stop seeing possibilities in things other people discard. A failed project, worn fabric, scrap fibres, and forgotten materials all become the starting point for something entirely new. I work intuitively, letting texture, colour, and experimentation guide each piece as it grows. My art is about transformation—not just of materials, but of the way we look at them.
I've become absorbed by textile art, new ideas are always popping into my mind. I hope my work invites people to slow down, look closer, and discover beauty, interest and a spark of imagination.
